Sorry about the confusion. This page just wasn't serving it's intended purpose. The focus was supposed to be on all the amazing people and groups that support the Butte both now and in the past. Then somehow events got added. All of that really didn't work in a blog because people tend to read the most recent posts and ignore the rest. Groups and individuals down the list were being slighted so much that we just decided to pull the page.

We're in process of creating a web page that does a much better job of shedding light on this extremely important topic. We'll celebrate the relaunch of this page on our main site as soon as it happens.

Btw, this topic is easily one of the most important to PBSS. Our very first written policy says that we do nothing to help in a given area without offering assistance to those already helping. For example, there are people who work on the trails on a pretty regular basis. So we started there by asking if they needed anything and then did (and are doing) our best to meet those needs.

This process seems to be having the desired effect. This group was already doing amazing things for the Butte. They didn't need our assistance. But, with it, they have been able to accomplish more. We feel this spirit of various Butte supporters working independently, and yet helping each other when they can, is something that will be happening more and more. PBSS definitely will do its part. We literally have no choice. We've purposely tied our own hands by putting this policy into place.
